Stila News: New York Fashion Week 2014
Posted on 20 February 2014
This NYFW, stila collaborated with some of the most fabulous designers to create eclectic, exciting looks with our spring collection and our iconic products.
Designer Rebecca Minkoff evoked the beauty of wide-eye nomads exploring the Mexican desert. Stila created a look inspired by a palette of Navajo Neutrals, the style of Frida Kahlo and dash of punk rebellion.
For Trina Turk, Sarah Lucero and the Stila Team created a cool, surfer style beauty inspired by a California road trip.
The Stila & Lola Rose collaboration was a nod to Mod: Pop pink lips and electric eye shadow helped channel the Mod style with contemporary flair.
Stila created the effortless cool spirit of surfer girls, skater chics and badass beauties of the outdoors for Cynthia Rowley. Rowley strikes a balance between the sporty and the feminine; thickly lined eyes, high impact lips and a post workout flush.
Stila’s collaboration with Betsey Johnson was a homage to a 1960’s vision of the future. Fembots walked the runway with intense metallic eyes, shimmery vinyl lips and flushed cheeks for a heavy dose of pretty punk.
Stila’s ‘Prep meets pretty’ look for Alice & Olivia was a fresh, dewy glow with pop pink cheeks, lightly coloured lips and a lick of mascara.
Stila was able to bring to life designer Sachin & Bibi’s vision of relaxed glamourous society girls yachting in the Greek isles to life with bright-lined eyes, sunkissed cheeks and glossy lips.
