Very effective. I chose the lightest colour. It looks very realistic. Remains in place, no smudges.

2 stars because it does provide some colour and there is still some staying power. Oh how I miss the definition and depth it was possible to achieve with original pen. I would try and make balayage end work but as a very light olive skinned toned person it does nothing, not visible enough. Definition not possible with either end. And the three pronged end is useless, not as dark as original pen and with way less definition. Can’t achieve hair strikes with this product. Colour is not as dark. No chance of creating hair strokes with this pen. The original product was a life saver and just more superior.

I see a couple of good reviews here but check out on Boots, the old pen is missed!
